Our Mission and Values
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide our clients with a warm therapeutic space in which their concerns will be heard, validated, and supported. We recognise that a strong therapeutic relationship combined with evidence-based treatments can lessen distress and promote better sleep and well being. Our mission is to support poor sleepers and those struggling with their mental health through all stages of treatment with compassion, understanding, and acceptance.
Specifically, we are committed to providing compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We offer gold standard treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more.
Accessibility is paramount to us, which is why we offer a range of options including telehealth and in-person sessions, as well as programs, workplace seminars, and informational materials available Australia-wide.
Inclusivity is at the heart of our practice, and we welcome clients from diverse communities including kids, young people, adults, older adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander individuals. We are committed to providing culturally sensitive and respectful care to meet the unique needs of each individual and our services are specifically tailored to support each client on their sleep/mental health journey.
We strive for professionalism in our team of trained and registered psychologists. We continuously build our skills through ongoing learning and professional development. We also maintain a multidisciplinary approach and prioritise effective communication with both our clients and their healthcare teams.
We understand that navigating funding pathways can be daunting, which is why we offer support for various funding options including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), private funding, Medicare, WorkCover, and the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT). Our goal is to ensure that financial considerations do not stand in the way of accessing quality mental health care.
